приветы!
подскажите имеются ли руководства по замене иконок, тем, курсоров, шрифтов и прочих украшательств для XFCE 4.6
просто я натыкался на http://xfce-look.org/ на всякие иконки без описания процесса их установки, просто архив с иконками и все :(
Ничего не помогло, систему ваще с нуля поставил. Ставлю дрова pacman -S catalyst и после startx выпадает такой же экран как на скрине, это однозначно дровы шалят! Не подскажете как удалить их из системы?
а не поможет ли мне выдрать xorg.conf из какого-нить дистрибутива, например openSUSE или таже Ubuntu?!
после конфигурирования xorg.conf через hwd -x и установки Xfce грузится черный экран, который время от времени мигает то в темно-черный, то в более светлый.

пасиба большое за напоминание, xorg.conf удачно создался при помощи hwd -x ;)
xorg 1.5.3

а вот насчет моей траблы решилось так:
/etc/inittab - заккоментировал стройки 5 уровня, где указывается, что нужно использовать kdm, в ~/.xinitrc сделал тоже самое, в /etc/rc.conf убрал из демонов kdm
Установил xorg, но после конфигурации /etc/X11/xorg.conf каждые 5 мин вылетают несколько строчек (прикладываю фото):

пасиба, уже проблему решил, обновляюсь с официального русского зеркала арча, у меня скорость подключения к сети и так маленькая =)))
после очередного обновления и установки compiz-fusion окна с украшениями от emerald стали открываться в полноэкранном режиме и у них отсутствовали заголовки. Слышал, что это баг самого арча после обновления libx11 и что можно откатиться до предыдущей версии libx11 для нормальной работы окон!
Подскажите как производится подобный откат! не имею понятия об этом деле!

P.S Вообще много раз слышал - вот поставил, не понравилось, откатился!

и ваще у меня такое ощущение и даже из собственной практике после сидения на убунте, что КДЕ развивается медленне ГНОМА и даже отстает в развитии!
