umask действует и на файлы и на директории, вычитается, рузультирующие права получаются:
fmask - umask
dmask - umask

где fmask и dmask, дефольные права для файлов и каталогов, обычно
fmask = 666
dmask = 777
umask = 022

ну и ещё какие-то перетурбации.. хз. так как-то логично

ЗЫ не воспринимайте мои бредни всерьез O0

Темы: 5 Сообщения: 88 Участник с: 18 декабря 2008	У меня похожая (как я думаю) проблема. Когда вставляю внешний HDD, то на нём не видно большой половины каталогов и файлов. Загружаюсь с Live-CD Ubuntu 8.04 и все каталоги с файлами на месте. Что за фокусы??? :-[

Я решил ещё раз перечитать wiki по HAL
