Как видите, у меня не сжаты только левые модули от VirtualBox, остальные сжаты, и это не мешает им прекрасно работать.

Как видите, у меня не сжаты только левые модули от VirtualBox, остальные сжаты, и это не мешает им прекрасно работать.
ну ок, чо мне енто дало чо модуль все же существует? с ним все понятно, но увы не решает проблему, при чем повторюсь опять же, у подключенного внешнего моника разрешение нормальное делается и через вга и через хдмай, а с лаптопным ни в какую..

вот где плазма хранит настройки разрешений экранов? никак не могу отыскать. енто же где то в сессии должно быть, но поиск по фразе разрешения не дает результата
Удалите конфиг иксов, если создавали его, и после перезагрузки выложите куда-нибудь cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

В папке ~/.local/share/kscreen/ , за это дело в кедах отвечает пакет kscreen, можете его удалить (вряд ли поможет).

народ.... короче... без конфигов все нормально работает... я так понимаю какая то ошибка в них была, наверно частоту сильно большую вертикальной развертки выбрал для лаптопного моника... сарян за сабж, каюсь...
