[РЕШЕНО] lsusb видит сканер, а xsane нет

Samsung SCX-4100 подключён по юсб.
$ lsusb|grep  canner

Кто виноват и что делать?

$ grep den /etc/group
lp:x:7:daemon,den
...
scanner:x:96:den

Не помогло.
Раньше сканер работал. Устанавливал из аура пакет samsung-unified-driver. Пакет стоит сканер не работает.
Заработало!
Перед запуском xsane надо подгрузить usblp (modprobe usblp).
Этот способ я пробовал. Но после отрицательного вывода sane-find-scanner отринул его.
А надо было запустить xsane.
